Shipping Policy
How Much Does Shipping Cost In The United States?
For regular ground shipping, we only charge an $8.95 handling fee. A choice between 3 day, 2nd day and next day delivery is available during the checkout process. Any item that is oversized or can only be shipped via truck freight, will have an additional shipping charge. If your order will be subject to any additional shipping charges, we will notify you before processing the order. Items ordered together may be shipped separately, but you will only be charged for one handling fee. All prices include insurance against damage or theft.
For orders to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico residents, please call 1-877-656-2427 or email us at cs@discount-pool.com with a list of the items you wish to purchase. We will contact you within 48 hours with the additional shipping charge. Some chemicals may not be available outside the 48 contiguous states. For items exceeding 150 lbs., shipping outside of the 48 contiguous states requires a special quote on our part. Please contact us prior to ordering to receive a quote.
All items shipped via truck freight will include residential delivery and lift gate service at no additional charge. The shipping company will contact you within 1 to 2 days of delivery to schedule a time for the delivery. You must be home for the delivery. Please make sure you inspect your purchase for damage. If your items are damaged, refuse the shipment and notify us immediately at 1-877-656-2427. Do not sign for your items if they are damaged or if items are missing. This will only delay us in getting out a replacement order to you. Once you have notified us that your items were damaged and you refused the shipment we will begin the process of getting out a replacement order.
How Much Does Shipping Cost Outside Of The United States?
If an order is to be shipped outside of the 48 contiguous United States, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges and all tariffs and/or import taxes imposed by the country to which the items are being shipped. For international shipping charges, please call 1-877-656-2427 or email us at cs@discount-pool.com with a list of the items you wish to purchase. We will contact you within 24 hours via email with the additional shipping charge.
How Long Will It Take For My Product(s) To Arrive?
All in-stock orders placed Monday-Friday by 12pm CST are shipped the same day, and should arrive to you within 2 to 5 business days in the continental U.S.A. Most packages are shipped via UPS or FedEx. If the combined weight of your order is 300 lbs. or more your order will be shipped via truckline with a 1 to 2 week delivery time. If you do not receive your purchase within 14 days, please notify us immediately.
What If A Product Is On Backorder?
Products that are out of stock at the time of your order are indicated on the website next to the product listing. The estimated shipping date is also noted. You may place an order for an out-of-stock item, but it will be placed on backorder and shipped when it is received. We will notify you either by phone or email, if for some reason an item was listed as in stock, but was actually not in stock
Oversized Delivery Items
Some products on our website are noted as Oversized Delivery or Truck Freight. These are generally items that are too big to be shipped through UPS, Federal Express or the DHL. The estimated delivery time of these products is usually between 1 week and 3 weeks. If you order a Truck Freight item, you will be contacted by the shipper within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery to set up an appointment for your merchandise.
Note: Refusal of delivery on any item that is not due to visible damage will result in shipping and/or restocking fees. Someone must be at the delivery location to receive these items, as they require a signature for delivery. You will be may be required to assist in moving the packages from the truck at the time of delivery.
Special Delivery Items
Some products on our website require a little extra preperation. These are products that take a little extra time in being delivered to you. If you have ordered one of these items, we will notify you by phone or email, and provide an approximate shipping date.
Custom Orders
Delivery time of custom orders will be estimated at the time you receive your quote.
Express Shipping
If you would like express shipping (overnight, 2-day shipping or 3 Day Shipping), you may choose this option during checkout. Please note, express shipping is not available on Truck Freight Items, some Oversized items, Special Delivery items or on Backordered items.
International Shipping
We do provide shipments to international destinations. However, due the increasing amount of credit card fraud, we will only accept wire transfers as means of payment on all international orders. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges and all tariffs and/or import taxes imposed by the country to which the items are being shipped.
